World of Warcraft Fishing

I have put up this World of Warcraft Fishing Guide to demonstrate how to level up as fast as you can. I decided to leave out the things or details which were not important so as not to waste time.

Since fishing and cooking go together hand in hand in this game, I decided to include the latter so as to hit the two skills in one technique.

This guide will take place in 15 hours, or 11 if you are fast.

Why does your skill rate change

The number of successful catches is what makes your skill rate go up.

Here is the fairly accurate equation:

(current unmodified fishing level - 25) / 25 = # of fish needed to level, assuming that there's a minimum number of fish per catch.

You should be conscious that your skill rate changes depending on the number of successful catches that you make. Again, your skill rate increases based on the number of successful catches that you've made.

WoW Fishing Guide - Horde

1. You must start from the Bloodhoof Village in Mulgore.

2. Look for Harn Longcast, and talk to him about purchasing Brilliant Smallfish and Longjaw Mud Snapper recipes.

3. Go to Stonebull Lake and begin to fish.

4. Start equipping the rod, then apply the shiny bauble lure in it. This makes catching fish a lot simpler!

5. Spend about 40 minutes catching 60 Brilliant Smallfish.

6. After catching the 60 Longjaw Mud Snappers, cook all of them. Once you have about 60 of them already, cook them. Go back to Harn Longcast and ask him fire or You may also build your own.

7. Cook Brilliant Smallfish.

8. At level 50, you should start cooking Longjaw Mud Snappers.

9. Catch Longjaw Mud Snappers in the Orgrimmar pond. The drop rate is better in Orgrimmar, so it is adviced to go directly in there rather than stay in your place.

10. Between levels 50 and 70, learn Journeyman cooking and fishing.

11. Catch at least 30 Longjaw Mud Snappers for you to raise your cooking to 100.

12. Go to Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad. Talk to Derak Nightfall and purchase Bristle Whisker Catfish recipe.

13. 80-100 of these recipes are required to get your cooking level up to 175.

14. Get Expert Cookbook from Shadowprey Village in Desolace when you reach levels 125-150.

15. Go to Booty Bay and purchase a book for your fishing level. Speak to old man Heming and buy from him his Expert Fishing.

16. Once you reach 175 cooking, go to Shadowprey Village in Desolace.

17. Speak to Wulan and purchase Mithril Head Trout recipe, then begin fishing at the pier.

18. For you to raise your cooking level up to 225, you must get about 60 of these.

Once you have completed the above 18 steps, you should have reached cooking level 225. This is the farthest that you can go if you haven’t reached level 35. If you are over level 35, you will have 2 quests more to compelte before you can continue.
